Watford Control Celebrates Another Successful ISO Audit

Watford Control Instruments Ltd has successfully passed its annual audit for the ISO standards 9001:2015 (quality management) and 14001:2015 (environmental management) after being held on 3rd March 2020.

Mark Massetti, Managing Director of Watford Control, said:

I'm extremely delighted to be able to announce that Watford Control passed our recent ISO audit with flying colours- achieving no minor or major non-conformances - but also gaining commendation as achieving best in-practice in a number of audited areas including staff training and operational processes. This is testament to not only Watford Control's commitment to both quality and environmental management but also recognition of the dedication of each and every one of the employees within the business.

Having recently won two major new business customers this year already, neither would have been achieved without the requisite high level of attention and detail that our customers require in terms of quality and the environment. Global customers require their suppliers to have first class credentials in all areas of their relationships - we understand this.

ISO 9001 is based on a number of quality principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. Similarly, ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an environmental management system.

Watford Control have successfully held ISO accreditation across both standards since November 1993 for ISO 9001 (quality management) whilst ISO 14001 (environmental management) has been in place since October 2006.
