£5,000 grant available for SMEs in the Black Country, Hertfordshire & Buckinghamshire

Watford Control are delighted to announce that up to £5,000 in grants are available for part-payment against voltage optimisation /stabilisation solutions, allowing businesses to save energy and reduce their carbon emissions.

The fund set up to help SMEs in the Black County, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire is overseen by Low Carbon Workspaces and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Voltage Optimisation/Stabilisation, when combined with integrated Power Factor, can typically reduce your energy consumption by between 7-10%. Further, it is an established, reliable and now, thanks to Low Carbon Workspaces, an even more cost-effective way to reduce your business long-term energy footprint.

The energy grants will see Low Carbon Workspaces part-funding the cost of installation of equipment on a match funded basis of 2:1. For example, the total project expenditure must be a minimum of £3,000 to receive the minimum £1,000 grant or £15,000 to receive the maximum grant size of £5,000. Total expenditure is not limited to £15,000.
