Watford Control are proud to announce another successful installation of voltage stabilization equipment into the British High Commission in Abuja, Nigeria.
The British High Commission required a bespoke product which could be accommodated into a location with limited space and access. Watford Control assessed the client’s request and proposed a compact solution which would fit the requirements without compromising on power – three single-phase, 500kVA voltage stabilizers with correction ranges of ±15% totalling 1500kVA.
Prior to design and installation, Watford Control sent its most experienced engineer to carry out an installation survey to ensure a seamless and trouble-free install.
To coincide with the arrival of the goods into Nigeria, Watford Control then arranged for a team of its most experienced engineers to travel to Abuja to install the equipment within the British High Commission.
Following the installation, Watford Control engineers trained their Nigerian counterparts so that they would be able to service and maintain the units going forward.
Scott Clinton, Watford Control’s Customer and Technical Services Director comments:
“Owing to the nature and manufacture of Watford Control’s products, we can accommodate most customer requests for many specialist applications and products including IP00. Space was a restriction for this client, however, our bespoke nature means that we can adapt products to meet challenges which many of our competitors simply can’t do. It was a pleasure to work on this project and our engineers were impressed with the enthusiasm of the Nigerian engineers during the training session”.
